International Literacy Day - Digital Awareness Programme

 

అంతర్జాతీయ సాక్షరతా దినోత్సవం సందర్భంగా డిజిటల్ అవగాహన కార్యక్రమం 

విధాత సొసైటీ ఆధ్వర్యంలో అంతర్జాతీయ సాక్షరతా దినోత్సవం (International Literacy Day) ను పురస్కరించుకొని వనస్థలిపురం హైస్కూల్‌లో డిజిటల్ అవగాహన (DigitalAwareness programme) కార్యక్రమం  నిర్వహించబడింది.

ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని విధాత సొసైటీ అధ్యక్షురాలు శ్రీలత గారు ఆధ్వర్యంలో నిర్వహించారు. విద్యార్థులకు చదువుతో పాటు నేటి ఆధునిక యుగంలో డిజిటల్ సాక్షరత (కంప్యూటర్లు, స్మార్ట్‌ఫోన్లు, ఇంటర్నెట్, సోషల్ మీడియా, డిజిటల్ పరికరాలు వంటి ఆధునిక సాంకేతికతను సక్రమంగా ఉపయోగించగలిగే జ్ఞానం, నైపుణ్యం) ఎంత ముఖ్యమో వివరిస్తూ అవగాహన కల్పించారు. కేవలం చదవడం, రాయడం మాత్రమే కాకుండా, ఆధునిక సాంకేతికతను సక్రమంగా వినియోగించుకోవడం కూడా సమాజ అభివృద్ధికి కీలకం అని తెలియజేయడం జరిగింది.డిజిటల్ టెక్నాలజీ వినియోగంలో భద్రతా చిట్కాలు, ఆన్లైన్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ ప్రయోజనాలు,సోషల్ మీడియా జాగ్రత్తలు,విద్యార్థుల్లో క్రియేటివ్ లెర్నింగ్ పద్ధతులు, సాక్షరత – సమాజ పురోగతి సంబంధం మొదలైన అంశాలపై అవగాహన కల్పించడం జరిగింది.

 International Literacy Day – Digital Awareness Programme 

On the occasion of International Literacy Day (September 8th), Vidhatha Society organized a special Digital Awareness Programme at Vanasthalipuram High School.

The programme was conducted under the leadership of Vidhatha Society President, Smt. Srilatha Garu. She enlightened the students about the importance of not only basic literacy but also Digital Literacy in today’s modern world.

Digital Literacy means the knowledge and skills to effectively use modern technology such as computers, smartphones, the internet, social media, and digital tools. Students were encouraged to understand that literacy is not just about reading and writing but also about using technology responsibly for personal growth and social development.

 Benefits of online education
 Responsible use of social media
Creative learning methods
The link between literacy and social progress

The session inspired students to become “Digital Ambassadors”, spreading awareness in their families and communities about the importance of digital literacy for a better future.
